Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel was in the Ancient City of Ephesus after St. Irene

Maintaining its works with the aim of supporting young talented persons since its establishment and taking the road from Belgium with its supporters of 200 persons, "Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel" met Turkish audience on September 17, Saturday for the first time. The orchestra gave its second concert on September 19, Monday at İzmir Ephesus Ancient City Celsus Library. All of the income of the concert realized in İzmir on September 19 is transferred to Ephesus Foundation which aims at contributing in development of Ephesus Ancient City and its international publicity.

Unforgettable pieces by Mozart

The band presented pieces of Mozart under the conductorship of Jean-Claude Casadesus in the concert that was given at Ephesus Ancient City Celsus Library on September 19.

Being famous worldwide with the album series of "Queen Elisabeth Music Voyage" released in 2007 and 2009, the band takes audience of "Queen Elisabeth Music Voyage" to a voyage at borders of eastern and western civilizations by ship with melodies borrowed from Libyan Shores and Adriatic coasts. The harmony established by experienced musicians and young colleagues allows musical diversity concept to arise in a form got out of the definition of generation.

With the support of Culture and Tourism Ministry of Republic of Turkey and sponsorship of Borusan OTO, event sponsorhip of VIP Events and participation of firms Sevilen Şarap Sanayi A.Ş., Kaya Prestige Otel Catering, Tükelmat, A.Ş., Mon Jardin- Ali Deniz, Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel concert met with Turkish audience. President of the EGIAD; Temel Aycan Sen was among the participants of İzmir concert.

Queen Elisabeth Music Musical Voyage of Izmir will continue its road with Rhodes, Santorini, Naples, Athens until September 24.
